Rest assured, Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment will continue to be the same formulation, we are simply giving the outer packaging a fresher feel, drawing on the heritage brand colours of Metanium.
The formulation of Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment will remain unchanged, continuing to provide effective protection against the irritants that can cause nappy rash while supporting the skin’s natural barrier. The product will continue to be unscented and suitable for vegans, and it can be used at every nappy change from birth onwards.
So, look out for it next time you are in store – but remember, as part of our commitment to sustainability, you may spot the new yellow and purple packaging on shelves alongside the old-style packs, while retailers sell existing stock.

Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment
Titanium Dioxide, Petrolatum, Paraffinum Liquidum, Dimethicone.
Contains titanium dioxide, which may stain dark fabrics white. Avoid contact with the eyes. For external use only. Mild skin reactions (redness and rash) occur rarely, in this case, stop use, and ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any concerns. Do not use if the skin is badly cracked, inflamed or bleeding. If accidently swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this carton. Keep out of reach of children. Replace cap after use. Store below 25°C in original carton.
Do not use if you or your child: Have an allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Have broken, badly cracked, infected or bleeding skin.
