There's no such thing as a "perfect parent", and we want your help to prove it.

To celebrate how hardworking and amazing our community of parents are, we’re giving away weekly prizes to our Metanium parents who share their version of what parenting REALLY looks like.

Whether that be with an exhausted selfie following a late night of feeds, a picture showing the changes your body goes through during pregnancy, or a video of the tantrums your little one has on a daily basis - we want ALL of our Metanium parents to come together and say it's OK not to be perfect.

AMY CRISP - Mum to Colby

How do I feel about Perfect Parents VS reality? Well let's face it, there is no such thing as a 'perfect parent’. I’m pretty sure there is no mum that hasn’t been peed on, pooped on or puked on - it’s all part of the fun! I’ve left the house in slippers, clothes inside out, hair not washed for a week, you name it - I’ve probably done it. I have always prided myself on sharing the highs and lows of parenthood because the reality is... it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. I absolutely wouldn’t change it for the world, but being a Mum is tough stuff. We’re all in this crazy whirlwind of motherhood together so it is important that we support each other! We may not be perfect but to our babies, I’m sure we are!

Life is tough my darling but so are you, as a mother you are emotional but need to be the rock, your tired but need to keep going, your worried but also full of hope, impatient yet patient too. You can feel overwhelmed, and doubt yourself but alway remember how strong you are.
